New Vulnerability Threatens Windows 7 Implementations
In May 2019, Microsoft announced – and subsequently patched – a critical software security vulnerability in older Windows systems. The vulnerability, now known as BlueKeep, takes the form of a remote code execution bug that allows attackers to execute malicious software at the heart of Windows operating systems – including Windows 7, Windows XP, and Windows 2000.
